Global advertising technology leader, The
Trade Desk, Inc. (Nasdaq:TTD),
announced today that Brian Stempeck has joined its board of directors.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Stempeck works closely with customers and
partners to shape new products and business lines, as The Trade Desk
continues to transform the world of advertising. Stempeck has a
particular focus on educating marketers about the evolving world of
digital advertising, including leading The Trade Desk's Connected TV
initiatives.
The company’s first Chief Strategy Officer, Stempeck is a veteran of The
Trade Desk, having served as Chief Client Officer since 2015, and prior
to that as Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development.
Having opened the company’s New York office in 2010 and built it into
the company’s largest location, Stempeck now leads The Trade Desk's
office in Los Angeles.

Before joining The Trade Desk, Stempeck worked for Unilever in brand
management on the Dove brand, and at Bain & Company, the strategy
consulting firm. At Bain & Company, he advised Fortune 500 clients in
the retail and pharmaceutical sectors on their online marketing
strategies, and also worked for Bain's private equity practice. Prior to
Bain, Stempeck was a journalist on Capitol Hill for five years at E&E
Publishing, covering energy and environmental policy.
Stempeck serves on the Board of Directors for the Ad Council and is an
Advisory Board Member for Advertiser Perceptions. He holds a BA from the
University of Virginia and earned his MBA at the Kenan-Flagler Business
School at the University of North Carolina.
